3D digital twin for SDL training

3D digital twin for SDL training
At this year’s Science Intelligence Hackathon, Veronica and Ivory built a 3D digital twin of the colour-match robot deck. It visualizes the robotic arm and instruments as they move, using positions taken directly from the real platform built by Telescope Innovations. The simulation is driven by Python, just like the physical deck, and IvoryOS can orchestrate it as a panel, from the desktop app, or standalone in the browser. The project builds on our recently published in-silico SDL training tool in Digital Discovery. Its goal is to close the gap between manual and automated workflows by giving learners hands-on material that is easy to access and sits on the same tools labs already use. github
